About
David Egan’s paintings bring abstraction and narrative together through colour, rhythm and line.
Born in Dublin in 1965, Egan moved to Sydney in 1988 and opened his first studio in 1996. He returned to Dublin in 2020, maintaining his Sydney studio.

Spontaneous brushwork. Flat painted surfaces. Silkscreen imagery drawn from an evolving bank of original drawings.
Paintings and works on paper, made between Dublin and Sydney.
